BEHIND THE BEHAVIOR:
A Caregiver's Guide to Understanding
How Children Learn
DATE: Monday, August 31, 2026
TIME: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm EST;
10:00 am - 11:30 am PST
DESCRIPTION:
A child melts down over homework. Shuts down and refuses to try. It's easy to read these moments as defiance, laziness, or a bad attitude, but underneath these reactions is one of three very specific things going on: how the child is thinking through the task, how well they understand their own learning process, or how they feel about themselves as a learner. This session gives caregivers a simple, practical way to tell these apart in real time.
